Comment: Brian rowed us and our load of driftwood into camp.
Alaska 601 * This grizzly swam across the river within the first 30 minutes on the water! Needless to say, that got our heart rates up and our cameras out! See movie also. * This grizzly swam across the river within the first 30 minutes on the water! Needless to say, that got our heart rates up and our cameras out! Alaska 089 * The Canyon of the Tatshenshini signaled that the river was speeding up and we would soon enter the most significant rapids of the trip, only an hour after we put on the water! Black Bear rapid, Twin Falls, and M&M Falls kept us on our toes for the next hour or so as we maneuvered our heavily laden rafts through wave trains and around hydraulics. * The Canyon of the Tatshenshini signaled that the river was speeding up and we would soon enter the most significant rapids of the trip, only an hour after we put on the water! Alaska 098 * Bald eagles abounded along the river. Although we never tired of seeing them, they did become regular enough of a sight that I once heard another boater say with little excitement is his voice, Steer over there, right by the bald eagle flying over the river. * Bald eagles abounded along the river.
